Mentor UP!

Empowering At-Risk Youth

We are committed to providing underserved youth ages 17 - 26 with the tools, resources, and opportunities necessary to explore and pursue careers in the health and fitness sector. Through mentorship programs, apprenticeships, and hands-on experiences, we aim to instill confidence, passion, and a sense of purpose in each participant.

MentorUP! invites young people to:

•          A weekly group cross-mentorship opportunity

•          1:1 mentoring will allow for individual exchange

•          Sub-groups of young women, young men, and

•          Mixed groups including social-economic diversity for “multidirectional mentoring”

Through our unwavering commitment to at-risk youth, viable work opportunities, responsible citizenship, and community bridge-building, The Mallory Gaston Foundation strives to make a lasting impact on the lives of our young people and the communities we serve. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.

Mentors

• Mallory Gaston: National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) board chair, Body Mechanix founder/board chair, and founder of the MG Foundation

• Dr. Yvonne Cagle: Aerospace physician, explorer, and entrepreneur

• Mayor Melissa Blaustein: Sausalito ultra-swimmer, community-builder and local-global leader

• Elana Yonah: Cofounder of the George Lucas Education Foundation, co-creator of EDUTOPIA and former global champion athlete

• Mariah Rankine-Landers: Professional facilitator and liberatory educator for over twenty years. Still studies tap dance, which has been a lifelong love affair.
